Volunteers needed for Discover Health on Feb 19th

Category: General

The University of Northern British Columbia, in association with Northern Health and the Northern Medical Program, will be hosting “Discover Health ”: an event for senior high school students and science teachers from across Northern BC.  The event will expose students to leaders in the health and health science fields, provide hands on experience with health research and health technology, and conclude with an “open mike” career panel.

We are looking for 10 volunteers to help chaperone senior high school students that are attending Discover Health workshops on February 19th at UNBC Prince George Campus.

The volunteers will guide students to their workshops, aid the workshop hosts if needed, and as follow-up, debrief with Discover Health coordinators concerning the workshops they attended.

Lunch will be supplied to all volunteers from 12:00 – 1:00 pm sponsored by CIHR and held at UNBC cafeteria.
