COMMUNITY EVENT: Feb 12-14th,the 14th Cinema CNC film festival

Category: General

Dear UNBC community,

Please find key imformation about the upcoming 14th annual cinema CNC (weekend) festival, Feb 12-14 2010, at the PG Playhouse.

The UNBC bookstore is supporting the festival  (THANK YOU!) by selling day passes (Fri: 14$; Sat OR Sun: 21$) and weekend passes (48$; these can be broken up among friends, by film).

Individual film tickets can be bought at PG Playhouse before showings, but these are limited.... so it's best to buy your tickets in advance.

As a member of the festival committee, I also have 10 weekend passes for sale.  Contact me at x5920 or meletis@unbc.ca if you would like one.  I am also collecting community and corporate donations and donations-in-kind if you would like to contribute to the not-for-profit festival/organization.

More information about the films is found in the PULSE link below and on the posters that can be found on various UNBC bulletin boards.

Thanks!

Dear Friends of Cinema CNC:

Tickets are selling briskly, so that's good; I forgot to say where tickets are on sale in the last email, so that's bad.

You can get your passes at Books and Company, the CNC Bookstore, and the UNBC Bookstore.

If you would like a little preview of the films, I've posted the event on THE PULSE [link below]... each film is listed, too, with a photo, a description, and A TRAILER! [I know how much you love trailers, so here you go]. If you go to the page linked, just put the name of the film you'd like to see more about in the SEARCH box, and voila... there it will be.

Once again, get your tickets soon. Tell your friends about the Festival; your smiling face says more than any marketing we can do. And finally, if you have any inclination towards sponsoring or donating items for the silent auction or door prizes, give me a shout.

See you when the lights go down,

peter
