Synergy in research for the next decade
5th Annual UNBC Graduate Conference
Monday 29th - Tuesday 30th March

The next decade will provide new challenges to be overcome through research. What has been evident over the past years is that one of the best solutions to approach research questions is through working synergistically across disciplines. The 5th Annual Graduate Conference aims to allow graduate students in all elds the opportunity to present research interests. This year we will try to oer more interactive sessions by assigning both afternoons to student led workshops and panels, as well as the traditional presentations and posters.

You are invited to submit proposals that pertain to the conference theme. The scope under this theme is
unconstrained and can include applied or theoretical research within all disciplines.

Submission deadline: March 1, 2010
- PRIZES awarded for best paper, workshop, and poster
- Travel subsides available (based on travel distance)

For Presentations, please provide:
- Title of presentation
- 250 word abstract
- Audiovisual equipment requirements

For Workshops, please provide:
- Title of workshop
- Names of workshop instructors
- 500 word abstract
- Audiovisual equipment requirements

For Posters, please provide:
- Title of presentation
- 250 word abstract
