Graduate students have the potential to make large contributions to the growing student culture at UNBC. The involvement of graduate students in student clubs allows graduate students to share their experiences at other universities with other students at UNBC. An example of an important contribution that graduate students can make to student culture at UNBC is the creation of professional or occupation-based clubs, which allows for greater vertical integration of students enrolled in graduate programs and undergraduate programs. In the 2007/2008 budget, the NBCGSS council voted to allocate funds to support school clubs started by graduate students or with strong graduate student participation.
If you are interested in starting a school club or believe that your club has strong graduate student participation please contact Corinne at gssdof@unbc.ca.
