To support graduate students working on their thesis research, the NBCGSS has purchased some basic research equipment for use by graduate students at no charge. Currently, there are two DSS compatible digital voice recorders, a 8.0Mp digital camera and USB-connected transcription footpedal available. Each of these devices connects to a PC to create a digital workflow and the software to operate these devices is installed on several computers in the Graduate Student Computer Lab and is available for installation on personal computers.

Important information:
-Research equipment can be booked at the NBCGSS office in advance
-A deposit is required to use of this equipment, which is refunded upon return of the equipment
-To ensure that students' equipment reservations are respected, there is a late fee of $10.00 per day
